I am a contemporary artist from nipaluna/Hobart. I grew up on the shores of the Derwent Estuary at Opossum Bay where rockpools glisten and molluscs cluster. I have long been fascinated by the changing rhythms of the sea and my paintings seek to capture the wild Tasmanian Coast with its fleeting light, wheeling weather fronts and southern swells. These are fragile places, places where the power of the wind and the sea lash the land, changing it forever. I am interested in the intertidal zone where the land and sea entwine.
